Dopo un tranquillissimo sabato sera di inizio agosto in una località turistica, solitamente tranquilla, qual è Nova Siri Scalo, dove si erano da poco tenuti i festeggiamenti (tardivi) per la Madonna del Carmine, per l’esattezza intorno l’una e mezza, presso il bar “La Dolce Vita”, in via Siris, il corso, riempitosi a dismisura fino a poco prima, si è scatenata una violenta rissa fra due cittadini Albanians living in Nova Siri Scalo, in possession of a valid residence permit and four Italians also of the place. The six contenders, two Albanians, respectively, twenty and twenty-two, four Italians and twenty-seven, twenty, twenty and nineteen, with a number in drunken state, they began to quarrel, probably for trivial reasons, and thereafter the altercation has degenerated so much that we have moved from words to blows and the "bottles". This has turned a violent brawl during which six have angrily scrambled, not skimping kicks and punches, using, for guilt, even bottles of beer. On the spot, alerted by a call to 112, arrived in a very short time, the local police station, on the other services already engaged in some territorial control over a period of rapid population growth due to the presence of many vacationers that up to half an hour before he populated the street full of stalls and entertainment. The military once near the bar, have identified the six subjects, now battered and one of them, despite the presence of policemen and wounds, still showed aggressive intent clear. The military has done well to stop young people before they could get away or fight back and at the same time, warned the 118 service, to ensure appropriate care for the wounded.
