Il sogno di Marika Lermani (nome d'arte Marika) ad X Factor, il popolare talent show di Rai Due, è già svanito. Martedì notte, infatti, la 24enne cantante nata a Policoro, ma residente a Nova Siri, ha perso il ballottaggio della nona puntata con Nathalie, uscendo, quindi, dal loft dove sono rimasti gli altri sei concorrenti. Marika era entrata in gara solo due martedì fa. Così, Anna Tatang elo, la sponsor della giovane interprete lucana, è rimasta senza concorrenti. Che le cose potevano mettersi male per Marika lo si è capito prima ancora che ella cantasse la difficile “Woman in love”, di Barbara Streisand, quando Francesco Facchinetti, conduttore del programma, ha chiesto alla giurata- discografica Mara Maionchi se fosse disponibile a farle un contratto.
«È una cantante tradizionale – ha risposto Maionchi. Per lei sarebbe difficile trovare autori giusti. Fatemela conoscere. Diciamo che per adesso è un punto interrogativo».
Poi, l'esibizione della promessa canora di Nova Siri ed i giudizi espressi su di lei dalla giuria.
«Canti bene – ha detto Enrico Ruggieri – ma la History is littered with people who sang well and was successful and another that has not had. The dividing line is the people. I'd love to hear you sing in Italian. "
